• Stendörren appoints new CEO

    Stendörren bid Fredrik Brodin, CEO of Stendörren, has decided to leave the company with immediate effect as Mikael Nicander takes the helm. Most recently Nicander was deputy CEO of Kvalitena, the largest shareholder of Stendörren until it sold its entire stake to EQT last November.

    Stendörren bid Kvalitena, the largest owner of Stendörren, has on December 3rd, sold 380,750 B-shares in the logistics company. A large part of the shares, 277,200 shares, were sold to Kvalitena’s CEO and the chairman of the board of Stendörren, Knut Pousette.

    Stendörren bid Investment giant EQT has, through its wholly owned subsidiary Chicago Holding, made a public bid for listed Stendörren Fastigheter. The bid is a cash bid and amounts to SEK 100.25 per A and B share in Stendörren, meaning that Stendörren is valued at just over SEK 2.8 billion.

    Stendörren bid The independent bid evaluation committee of Stendörren Fastigheter has recommended the company’s shareholders to reject the takeover bid made by EQT Real Estate, according to a press release from Stendörren.

    Stendörren bid “EQT is a company with a good reputation and they have assessed Stendörren, which has resulted in them making a bid for the company. They have indicated that they wish to see the company move forward and their analysis has shown that we are operating in a strong segment where we have delivered a good result over time, otherwise they wouldn’t have taken notice of us.”

  • Länsförsäkringar rejects Stendörren bid

    Stendörren bid According to Länsförsäkringar Fonder, the EQT bid for Stendörren is low and they will not accept the offer. Länsförsäkringar has announced that its funds have acquired additional shares in Stendörren and now hold just over 10 per cent of the shares in the company.
